Advice & Tips
As I use a TENS machine that has a heat option as well, the effect on joint pain due to climatic conditions is fantastic. The only problem is while using the heat setting is that there are some areas of my body which has limited sensation so very often I cannot tell how hot things are...in these areas I have a max/min setting that I stick to. Also having epilepsy and IHD there are many no go zones basically any area below my chest (nipples) OK but not above.

Advice & Tips
I find that using my TENS unit does help significantly with the fibro muscle pain. I can always tell when I take a break from it, so it must be working that much! :0) I was allergic to the conductive gel, I think, so I quit using that so I no longer get an itchy rash where the electrodes go. I still give my give a break every other day and keep the unit off for a day and then restart it. But I definitely think it's a worthwhile investment and non-drug treatment.
