When I saw my phychiatrist on May 23, 2013 he told me to divide my dose and take 30mg in the morning and 60mg with my night-time medicine. This is supposed to help my fatigue. I still have not felt any different. I am exhausted all the time and I do not think it is from the pain meds that I take. I was tired before I started taking those meds. I have lost my spark!

I think that Cymbalta has totally erased my sex drive. I do not experience drowsiness with Cymbalta. Drug companies have programs to help pay for the Cymbalta.

I take quite a high dose of the Cymbalta and I have to help it out with Abilify so I am not sure exactly how good the Cymbalta really is. It has been approved by the FDA to help with FM pain so it was a good choice that my doctor had made years before the FDA made the announcement. I still feel like I am on the edge of my seat alot of the time and I also take Visteril when needed.

Cymbalta combined with Celebrex and gabapentin seem to keep my pain in a tolerable 3-4 on a 10 point scale. As I get older I am feeling more pain and I see physical medicine Dr. tomorrow.. will discuss options as to what is available if I {wear out} current medications. I've been on current meds for over 5 years and efficacy is decreasing. I pay $50.every three months since I turned 65.

I take my full daily dose in the morning, I find that cymbalta in combination with fluoxetine has helped me deal with chronic depression and helps somewhat with brain fog of fibromyalgia & chronic fatigue. I still stress over some things, family & finances mostly and stressors can override my medications at times. I think cymbalta does help reduce some nerve pain and that is a definite impact. I have been diagnosed with neuropathy and radiculopathy and I think cymbalta helps with some of the symptoms from this.

This medication seemed to have a bad reaction to another medication (methadone) that I was taking. My heart seemed to be skipping beats and my pressure and heart rate increased so it was stopped immediately.

Cymbalta: The nausea it causes isn't worth it, I know I can take Wellbutrin, Lexapro, without the side effects. I always have underlying anxiety. But the doctor that was assigned to tell me his plan for me or listen, he has added to my anxiety. This is not good with everything else. I can see trying to heal my digestive system but I can't eat hardly anything anyway. So I'm trying to find things that I can eat.

Was prescribed for my general pain, in hopes that it would help my CRPS. Undoubtedly, this drug has major positive & negative effects on me. I have seen major improvements in my CRPS (pain, hypersensitivity, swelling, & dusky discoloration of right foot). However, it has negatively effected my sleep in a major way. Since beginning the drug, I have yet to sleep the whole night through. I average 4-5 hours of sleep per night.

Have only taken for a couple of weeks, and have seen tremendous positive improvements with my CRPS symptoms and neurologic pain. However, is disrupting my sleep regularly.
