Advice & Tips: Remicade is infusion only. My infusions are once every 5 weeks, and they take 2-3 hours each. I feel terrible afterwards and need to go home to sleep, but usually feel good the next day. I make sure I bring a good book or some trashy magazines to make the time go by faster, and the staff at the infusion center is always very sweet. I actually find the infusion time to be relaxing, since I really can't do much while I have the IV in. I try to enjoy that down time.
