Advice & Tips
I took REBIF for 4.5 years. I found that a T, Th, and S regimen worked best, allowing a day yo regroup for the work week. I have found that my fatigue and depression increased on the medication. After more MRI changes, me neuro is now switching me to Tysabri.

Advice & Tips
My initial use of Rebif was a T-TH-S regimen. I found that I had extreme fatigue each Monday morning while adhering to that schedule. I switched to M-W-F shots, early in the evening, and found that using the week-end to "recover" from the injections allowed me to feel much better on Monday mornings. I added Amantadine (200 mg) daily, and with the combination of the two, feel that the overall changes have helped significantly. Tylenol-Extra Strength in the evenings seems to help battle the side effects from the shots.

Advice & Tips
At first,my husband did my Rebif injections for me using the Rebi-ject.(I was nervous)After a few weeks I decided that I was going to try doing it myself, but because of the numbness in my fingers,I was unable to use the Rebi-ject.So, I did the injections without it.(Alot easier for me) The reason I stopped using Rebif was because I had a few more lesions show up while on it.The only side-effect I had was injection site reactions.Bright red marks right after injections that would last for a week or two.Call me vain if you wish, but I live in Florida.Because of the site reaction,I quit wearing shorts and bathing suits. That put a damper on alot of the outdoor activities our family enjoys to do. My wonderful hubby,my neurologist (who is great btw) and I discussed this and we have decided that Tysabri is the treatment I should use. *********fingers, eyes, and toes crossed**********

Advice & Tips
Quite frankly Rebif is geared towards RRMS. Being SPMS, my neurologist suggested it, stating it showed some prospect in SPMS. I feel my gait and walking has slowly diminished. I am now on a 2 yr clinical trial, aimed at SPMS. At 59 yr. I'll give it a try, and if nothing else, testing for the future.

This one just made me sick with flu-like symptoms 3 times a week. Did nothing to slow progression.
