It is immediately obvious when I have gone too long without taking a pill - my leg drags and my foot drops. Sometimes I can't wait the full 12 hours and I have a very tough time if I sleep too late and too much time goes by.

Advice & Tips
I started on 5/1/10 and had immediate benefits. However, after about a year it stopped working for me and things became worse. I stopped the pill on 12/13/11 and things went rapidly downhill. I started again 5/13/12 and immediately things improved. It seems to work if you take breaks from it.

Advice & Tips
The prescribed dosage is two 10 mg tablets per day, spaced 12 hours apart. This is too much for most people, and the second tablet is wasted because you're mostly sleeping at that time, so most people I know take one tablet daily and do fine with that. Even that is two much for some, so they have gone to a compounding pharmacy where they can get ground to their specification, ie just 5 mg. This is a time released drug, so it cannot be cut in half.
