This medicine must be used carefully. When I started taking it I was dizzy and as I took it more I would find myself lying on the floor unable to account for what day it was or what time it was or how I got there or anything. :(

I've done my research on Gabapentin and anything over 1800mg is a waste of medicine and money. If it doesn't work at this dose it won't help you. You need to take it at this dosage for at least one month to make this determination. Both my MDs and my homeopathic ND agree.

Have not taken it at the current dosage as of yet, Rheumy told me to add more as I go along since I have trouble with fatigue and I was concerned that taking 300mg 3x a day would have me in bed all day because I have only been taking the Gaba at night. Rheumy says at 100mg tabs I can add slowly to build it up without being tired. My hope is my fatigue and pain levels will be more positive.

It's impossible to tell how any one person will react until you try it. In my case, the bad reaction to this drug was instant with a most unpleasant high not normally associated with any legal drug! Even after persevering with it, I was not able to function, it made me more confused and foggy, worsened my nausea and blurred vision, increased my trembling and shaking, caused dreadful headaches and I started getting severe chest pains and tightness in the chest again.
