I must noticeably up my water intake while on this because of the constipation issue it causes me. I also have to avoid mozzarella cheese while taking it (no pizza! =-( )

I am sensitive to medication so start with a low dose. No side effect, then slowly increase. With extra strength tylenol and Lyrica my down hill slide stopped. The pain edge lowered from a 6 out of 10 to a 5. I have increased the short acting tramadol 50 mg ( Ultram ) to 3x@ day. I have added long acting tramadol (100 mg) (tridural) 1 @ day. Pregabalin 75 mg (Lyrica) 1 @ day is what stopped the down hill slide. Each day the pain is less. Unfortunately I was more active and blew my bad knee so I am in cast and crutch I am taking Recovery for knee repair. I have a knee replacement on Jan 24

Changed docs who changed Vicodin and Tramadol (stpped both), and startd scheduled Lorcet TID. My Tramadol dose as over recommended (manfcturer) amts, but, when I did take the high doses, my pain level was SO much decreased and it reduced the amt of Vicodin required for breakthru pain.

do not take this medication with any anti-depressants other than welbutrin, they adversly affect each other and make people feel suicidal. docs missed this mentioned it to them and they had a lightbulb moment and took me off it completely after researching drug interactions themselves.
