I continue with this meds because I also take lamictal and not really sure which is causing which side effects. My seizures have become different and more severe and more often. I was taking Tegratol and Depacote with less side effects.
It is hard right now because I am transitioning to a new med.... The impact is now I have to remember to take meds twice a day and I am already having issues remembering. I feel loaded and drunk ALL day. I have it.
My personality completely changed on Keppra. I became very mean, depressed all the time, and even attempted suicide. I am NOT one to do that. I have NEVER thought of suicide before, thinking it a cowardly way out (no offense), but I think that shows how far out that took me. be VERY careful on this drug. It works great for some, for others not so much.
With this drug I not only had moderate to severe diarhea it also increased my seziures 10 fold. In truth I had more Status attacks than any other time or with any other treatment.
