Advice & Tips: Just read all information inserts and take as prescribed reporting all side effects to the doctor if and when they do occur... I have always had a positive attitude toward my medicine choice and know that its slowing ms down!

Advice & Tips: Today was injection # 21. I still do the same things as with the other times. 2 Aleve 1 hour before, massage site gently after injection and put on a little benadryl anti itch cream or bacitracin. Take 2 Aleve the day after. So far, so good. Only 2 site reactions, # 4 and # 5 on my upper thighs. Slight red water blister like bumps. After 3 days of bacitracin, skin started to look normal, only a slight difference in color, like a black and blue bruise, thats going away now too.

Advice & Tips: giving myself the injection is easier now with the autoinjector- today with be injection # 14, and the 5 the one with the auto injector. No major side effects from the medicaton itself, no known changes at this time but the impact of having to get an injection every other day is overwhelming at times...

Advice & Tips: At the beginning it made me a little sick and I had some injection site reactions but nothing severe. It has helped to prevent new lessions from forming and I am sure it has helped to slow down the MS. I have a hard time remembering to take the shots.

Advice & Tips: Step up the dosage. Take the pre-injection advil. Take the injection right before going to bed. This was very valuable to me. I will resume this treatment as soon as I can.

Advice & Tips: I had the nurses injecting me as I lost too much Grip in my hands to do it myself. Site reactions differ, but normally get red blotches that come up like bruises. I gained an extra 1-2 months between relapses and found that instead of the MS going for my legs, they changed to going for my hands, go figure!!

Advice & Tips: I have found this to work as far as giving me extra time between relapses, but I have yet to determie whether it is reducing severity or not. My main issue is with site reactions, but it is not too severe, just frequent. must just be me!

Advice & Tips: I am finding this drug to be beneficial in reducing the severity of my relapses as well as buying me extra time, the 30% statistic is correct for me. I am finding that my site reaction bruising and pain is now taking alot more time to disappear, 8 weeks on average, stopping me from going back to that site for a while instead of the recommended 4 weeks. other than that, there has been no adverse reactions or side-effects since the flu like symptoms stopped.

Advice & Tips: I didn't know whether this drug was working until I had a relapse with my legs. 11 months into treatment and onto my second relapse (this one affecting my legs for comparison) I have been given an extra 2 months between my frequent 5-6 monthly relapses. My relapses concerning my legs are normally an auto epidural which causes weakness too, the next relapse in June 2009 was just numbness from my toes to knees without any weakness, my hands were also affected, but probably could have been more severe.

Advice & Tips: I was in a study for 2 years and as of 5-9-10 my study ended and I was put into another study. With this study I am currently not taking any medication of any form. I had a week of infusions and I go for 3 days next year. But I feel great

Advice & Tips: Betaseron work wonderful for many years. I believe my body built up a resistance torward the end, and my neurologist switched me to Tysabri.

Advice & Tips: Betaseron worked very well for me while I was on it. I even had 1 MRI that looked better (my neuro said we weren't going to question it). I think I have been on it so long, my body has built up resistance to it. I am getting ready to start Tysabri soon.
