It seeemd to cause severe diaphoresisso, Also, it seemed to lose efficacy or my needs changed.

At first, I didn't think that I would be able to continue taking this medication the first 3 weeks was brutal insomnia, tired, and emotionally paralyzed at a constant state of depression. After the first month I started to feel very positive and the months to fallow were fine with mild jaw clenching and lowered libido. I've been taking this medication for some time now and I feel it is no longer helping me improve my depression, it has instead made me emotionally flattened. I do not feel especially happy or sad. I do not want to use a higher dose or another medicine to treat my depression, but instead I want to wean off and feel what it's like to not be emotionally flat again.

I originally took Cipralex for anxiety and moderate depression. My new psychiatrist suggested trying Celexa to better treat the anxiety. So far I like it much better.

The side effects of this medication at first were terrible, and in the long run was not worth it. If I didn't take the medication on time or didn't remember a dose I would have terrible panic attacks. Also, during increasing dosages panic attacks happened every night. This medication also completely destroyed my sex drive. Be very careful in increasing dosages

The Citalopram worked for a while but then stopped working and I was suicidal. I had serious suicidal idiation, and had planned to kill myself. I ended up in the Psych Hospital for 3 weeks and most meds of mine were changed.

I was having a major depression because of the constant pain, the Citalopram in combination with the Savella has made a huge difference in my life. I went deer hunting today for the first time in 3 years.

I loved this. It helped when when I really needed it. However, it did become an issue when I did not have it around and it did slow me down at work. This was the primary reason why I stopped it. I needed to perform better at my duties.

I have to kep it right where my coffee cups are so that I take it regularly, and i have to take it one hour before I eat or two hours after I eat. That can be problematic at times. It helps the depression mostly, but does not help the pain.
