I didn't think that azilect was doing anything, but i ran out for a few days. I did notice my left leg seemed to drag. It is definately doing something good.

I am taking Azilect with Cymbalta (SNRI), without experiencing any blood pressure problems. Both my neurologist and psychatrist are watching my outcome. The neuro said diet restrictions were lifted, so I have had wine, cheese, tofu.

Can't really tell any difference in my Parkinsons since I have been taking Azilect.But Doc says it does help so I will trust her judgement and keep on taking Azilect for now.

I really can't see much of an improvement in my Parkinsons since I started taking Azilect, but I have to believe maybe it is delaying the progression of the disease. It doesn't seem to have any side effects so far. What's one more pill when you take hundreds more every month.

I may stop taking it because I don't know that it is helping me. My neurologist agrees that it is Ok to try without it to see if if is currently giving me benefits or not. There seem to be no side effects but I prefer to take as little medication as possible (and also save the high cost).

It lets me walk almost normally (once I get started) and permitted me to reduce Requip and some its negative effects. It is very expensive and causes my family to quickly reach my max out of pocket prescription costs of $1,500.00. So, for most of the year there is no cost to me, because my prescription insurance picks up all cost after we reach the Max.

have only taken azilect for 3 weeks. The headaches can be bad. but the positive side effect is the reduction of tremors which is noticeable by other people. I now need to weigh up if the side effects are worth the reduction of tremors. I will continue taking the tabs another month and then re evaluate how I think I am progressing. Impact on my life at present is not always feeling well 1st thing in the morning I take awhile to 'get going', . I like to keep a routine going I like to think will not give in to the disease.

This medication reacted with another medication and food I ate causing Serotonin Toxicity Syndrome putting me in the hospital for 3 day. This reaction is often fatal.

Two years ago I had a serious flu and took an overthe-counter medication. About two weeks later I found tht i had a slight tear at the back of my eye thatcause a partial loss of vision. 18 months later i have laser surgery to cauterize the tear. My vision is better but remains slightly impaired.

My Azilect isn't giving me as much "on" time as it was before. My doctor is waiting for a new drug to be released in November which he thinks will improve my condition.

I am currently taking Azilect 1mg every morning. I have now been reduced to taking Stalevo 100mg every four hours instead of every 3 1/2 hours, and I have pushed myself just a few times to taking Stalevo 100mg once in a 5 hour period. Azilect has been a great drug for me. I have slowly been able to drop the amount of Stalevo and stretch my "on" time. Stalevo and Azilect together have given me better mobility and I thank God every day for these two drugs because I can't tolerate a lot of other drugs like Mirapex and Requip.
