Advice & Tips
The anxiety came on the scene with an increase in the dosage. If you have an anxiety disorder, I guess I would use this at an increased dose cautiously.

Advice & Tips
I decided to stop taking Venlafaxine as my emotions were being artificially supressed and I was unable to feel them, as I needed to work through them in therapy. Long term antidepressant use is also linked to weight gain and my weight gain is adding to my pain levels, especially in my knees. I want to reduce these.
My perception is this mild anti-depressant has perhaps relaxed me to the point where my speech has improved. It has been very effective in stopping the crying. Haven't had a crying jag since the medication was first taken.

Advice & Tips
Forgetting to take my medication is the main problem as the withdrawal symptoms are severe, 'brain zaps' dizziness, lightheadedness, problems focusing, slurred speak, slight visual impairment, heart palpitations and confusion.
When I am taking it regularly it does not improve my mood, but prevents me from falling into severe lows; I feel as though I am hit a safety net a neutral or slight low rather than spiralling into severe depression.

Advice & Tips
I did not like the fact that if I missed more than two days of this medication I went into a total tailspin. I would cry uncontrollably and feel very anxious. Take as directed.

Advice & Tips
DO NOT MISS A DOSE. DO NOT TAKE IT LATE OR YOU WILL HAVE BRAIN SHOCKS AND EXTREME NAUSEA.
I started taking the pill when I woke up and when I went to bed and the time between was too much, so withdrawn symptoms started to occur. I became so ill that I could not eat. Drinking was out of the question. Now I take the pill every 6 hours and the only side effect I have is mild muscle twitching.
It's helped me sleep less and stay more focused.
