| Sep 15, 2009 | My neurologist prescribed Neurontin as a 'long shot' at helping eliminate pain in my back/groin from a herniated disk injury in 1963. He also had hopes it might help me sleep at night. After I reached the maximum dosage of 900 mg /day, there ws no discernible improvement in either one of these. So we decided to stop taking it. It is not a drug which one stops taking 'cold turkey'. So I have been tapering off, planning to eliminate it entirely. | < $25 monthly |
