Nov 06, 2009 I tried the generic version of this drug (Citalopram) with much less success. I like Lexapro the best of all the many antidepressants I have tried. $50-99 monthly

May 05, 2009 I think the biggest thing would have to be to research thoroughly, through multiple sources, how best to taper off the meds and exactly what the withdrawal symptoms are. I feel like I'll be dependent on meds for the rest of my life, but is this due to my condition or due to the meds themselves? It's very frustrating. I also think that, before going on meds, a person should make a log or journal of their behaviors (such as eating habits, weight management, exercise, etc) so that they can accurately tell what a less-obvious side effect is. $25-49 monthly
