Provigil has given me so much of my life back. I take it twice a day to counteract some of the extra fatigue that comes from Lyrica (which has helped me a lot). With Provigil I feel like my old self and it helps me think to do financial activities and sme housework and stuff. The window is about 6 hours per dose .... but it has been an amazing treatment for me. I have been taking it for years.

I have not noticed it is helping me yet. We are working on increasing the dosage to see if that will help, however I am noting chest pains which I was passing off as heart burn. We are now considering this to be a side effect of the medication that needs to be watched as I increase the meds.

I took this medication every morning I had to drive to work (Mon, Tues & Wed) or anytime I had to drive for more than just a few minutes. It helped keep me awake & alert. Without it I was always on the verge of falling asleep at the wheel. I never suffered any side effects at all. This medication made it possible for me to drive the 40 minute trip to work every morning & back every night.
