I am very pleased with the overall results I have had since starting this medication. I had terrible mood swings, they were emotionally draining and damaging to myself and my family. After three weeks of treatment, we began to notice a significant lessening of the frequency of my mood swings. Now I find it much easier to remain clear-headed and level. I still have my bad days, but they are not regular now, they're just the odd bad day. :)

I take this drug for seizure control, but it also eliminates my ability to have an erection for sex. It detects the arousal and quickly calms it down. It also affects my moods...when others laugh at something, I don't get the joke, or when someone in the family dies, everyone's in tears except me. My doctor said his job was to control the seizures.
