Nov 16, 2009 Ambien helps me get enough rest and improves the quality of my sleep, which is so important with having fibromyalgia, since the fibromyalgia pain is much worse when I'm tired or lacking sleep. I fall asleep faster and wake up feeling refreshed. Although I feel like I would need to continue taking this to fall asleep, and may be becoming dependant on it, I feel like it is not much worse than before I started taking this, and that the benefits outweigh the risk of addiction. < $25 monthly

Jul 10, 2009 I take 1/2 of a 10 mg tab and that will usually do the trick but sometimes I think sleeping so sound in one position adds to my morning stiffness I have. But without the ambien I toss and shift all night, my legs drive me crazy, my back aches!! So I take the ambien most nights. I also found it cheaper to buy the 10mg and cut in half. The CR is too expensive and you can't cut them in half, or I would take them. $25-49 monthly
