  • Perceived effectiveness for Neck pain: Moderate
  • Perceived effectiveness for Pain in lower back: Major
  • Side Effects: None
  • Adherence: Always
  • Burden: Very
Dosage: 30 min Monthly
Advice & Tips: This treatment is for disc degeneration, not fibromyalgia. My Naturopathic MD recommends that I get 2-6 sessions of shots, each session 4-6 weeks apart, and cease treatment when pain is gone. More shots will be administered when/if pain returns. For me that would be about 1 year after the last session. The shots can be very painful when administered. It helps me if the doctor uses a numbing device before each injection. The pain doesn't last long, and is worth it based on the results. I only need 2-3 sessions to be rid of pain. The cost is about $400 per session.
Cost: $100-199 monthly
