I have only been taking this medicine just over a week and it seems to be working so far. I have experienced some very unpredictable nausea/vomitting. Its not every time I take it and it comes completely out of nowhere. Its weird. One minute I'm fine, then all of a sudden I'm running to the bathroom to get sick, then I'm completely fine again. I haven't really had any upset stomach, which makes this even more bizarre. I'm hoping this will go away with time.

The medication worked well but the weight gain was not good for me so if you have a weight problem to the heavy side you need to be very cause with how you take this and how your diet is monitored.

I have taken this medicine, with the exception of about a year, since 1991, and have not had any grand mal seizures. I have had mild aural seizure activity, but not bad enough to warrant a visit to the doctors. It has been 20 years without a grand mal seizure for me, and I think that is a big accomplishment compared to how I did before I started taking Depakote.
