I only took one dose of Aricept (very small 5 mgs). I am not willing to deal with the GI side-effects of Diarrhea in my life from another medicine. I am not going to take it any more as I don't think it is worth it.

When I had a major relapse the Docctor put me on this. It really helped. I had to take time off of work because I forgot how to do my job. Once they started me on this my cognitive thinking was so improved. I even started remembering things that happened years ago. I even found things that I had put away and forgot what I did with them. I take it in the Morning because it effected my sleep amd less side effects. Such as nausea.

Titrated up from 5 mg/day for 4 weeks; my memory issues haven't been quite as worrisome since starting, but taking it mid-afternoon makes me drowsy...

MISDIAGNOSED WITH TOURETTE SYNDROME. RXhappy doctor threw more prescription pads at me than I knew what to do with, including this Alzheimer's medication at eleven years old....... had absolutely no effect & have yet to hear of any other Tourette's patients, much less children, taking this.
