Advice & Tips
They were quite painful; a couple of times I had pretty severe reactions including racing heartrate, severe flushing and even difficulty breathing. After experiencing a major exacerbation my doctor changed me to beta seron.

Advice & Tips
Copaxone didn't work for me at all. Taking a daily injection made me think I was helping myself, but really I was just fooling myself.

Advice & Tips
This is the only one of the so-called "disease modifying drugs" that did not make me sick. However, it did not slow my progression. MRI from onset in 1997 to MRI in 2009 showed no "modification" of disease. Same lesions, some a bit healed but new ones appeared in there place.

Advice & Tips
Initially Copaxone seemed to make what we thought were relapses a little easier, but after a year and a half I felt that I was living in a permanent exacerbation. At that time my neuro agreed with me that I was actually SP and we changed treatment to Betaferon.
