Advice & Tips
I use an ice pack to numb the area before taking my shot. After, I take the ice pack and massage the area for a minute it help with the after sting and moving the medication around so it don't raise up under my skin and cause an irritation. I know shots get old after a while but this will help with some of the pain of doing it.

Advice & Tips
I have been taking Copaxone since I was first diagnosed and I think it is a life saving drug. I don't like the needles everyday but it had kept me out of a wheelchair (By the grace of God) I have had a couple of reactions when I first started it. I feel good being on it and it gives me a positive attitude that my MS Will not ruin my life I am in control of my life.

Advice & Tips
it burns when injected and area needs to be iced. hard lump that developes needs to be massaged away after 12 hours of the injection to prevent permanant damage to skin and underneath tissues. having to take a "natural salt solution" once a day for me was at the time the better choice than proteins and such harvested from the ovaries of genetically modified chinese hampsters.

Advice & Tips
I have found using heat before the shot and cold right after greatly reduces the size of the welt and any site discomfort except the stinging from the meds. But it has stopped the site / welt from hurting. The sting is really minor, I take the shot as I start making dinner, so I'm busy and don't have time to think about it stinging :)
