Advice & Tips
It really did help me sleep. Well it helped me fall to sleep, but I always woke up feeling majorly exhausted like I haven't slept all night. It was supposed to help me sleep and it did, but the problem was even after I awoke I still had that "drunk" feeling like I still needed to lay down and sleep. I really didn't like taking it, it became to much of a habit and not to mentioned within just a few months I gained over 50 pounds. That's not good for anyone and I am already "considered" obese, so I had to put a stop to it. It was one of those things that wasn't worth taking. I'd rather go without sleep than take this medication again.

just horrible! after 2 weeks has pushed up my blood pressure & caused constant palpitations - am reducing it fr 30mg - at least the head pain has stopped
I only take 1/4th of a pill about 1/2 to 1 hour before bed. I also take Trancor (supplement) and about 100 mg of 5 htp. Another product called "Crave Curb" also helps. Also add 2 mg of melatonin when needed, but not often.

Advice & Tips
I was prescribed one per day. I found that for me the drowsiness was unbearable. I found that 1/4th of the pill one hour before bedtime works pretty well.

Advice & Tips
This drug had the effect of making it very difficult to wake up in the morning to get to work. When I was depressed, it was very effective and my body adjusted to the sedation effects. As my depression lifted, I experienced more and more difficulty in waking up.
Also, it tended to have the effect of urinary retention. A plus when incontinence becomes an issue.
