Advice & Tips: Stops me getting too high. Usually knocks me out by 22:30 unless I am hyper, or during periods of a mixed state. Withdrawal is nasty, so make sure you collect your prescription on time, or in my case don't have chemists who don't understand that Quetiapine XR written on the prescription is the same as Seroquel XR!

Advice & Tips: This is an easy medication to take I use a four dosage a day pill box I fill it every night so that if I forget if I have taken something I can look and know right away. Seroquel is a nice medication for sleep once you get used to it and take it early enough to give yourself min 8 hours before you have to get up.

Advice & Tips: I was at 150 mg but had to cut it in half because I was sleeping way to much. I would becareful on this medicine because you can become sleep dependant on it. I am not sure how long though if you go off the Seroquel.

Advice & Tips: i started at a low dose, but needed to titrate up. eventually i was at 400mg(approx?) and had gained 30lbs. we finally decided that the weight gain was unhealthy and tried something else. didn't sleep for a couple weeks more than a few hrs a nite. dropped 30+lbs. decided i HAD to be on it, but found that 100mg coupled with 1 or 2 mg klonepin worked very well, and no weight gain.

Advice & Tips: This treatment works very well for me. I'd recommend it if you're having mood swings, or insomnia. Some professionals say it makes you gain weight. However, the opposite happened to me when I took it before- I lost somewhere around 20 lbs. ! But I was a kid when I first took seroquel, so I don't know what to expect now that I'm taking it again as an adult. It could be different when given to certain people and age groups.
