Constipation is a thing of the past. Balance and walking are much improved and in general my condition is not noticeable. A little while before my next dose I experience an "off" period. The length of the "off" period is shorter now with my current dose and sometimes does not even happen.

Carbo/levo consistently seems to be the most effective med I take. I can tell when it is time for me to take another one. Since sometimes my throat tightens up and my body just refuses to take another pill, I say a little prayer, relax my throat muscle and eventually it goes down. Keeps my ability to walk with confidence at a steady level.

I was unable to take a full dose of the regular carb/levo 25/100 tablets, so this was a great alternative. I was expecting it to fizz on my tongue and disappear, but instead it just sits there and you have to swallow as it slowly dissolves.

The drug works quite well but takes some time to adjust to a suitable dosage... I found out there is an absolute limit to how much I can take in a 23-hour period. If I take more than five tablets, severe side effects kick in. Also while on this drug I am tired most of the time.

Taking sinemet helped temporarily because the zoloft was blocking the reuptake of dopamine. Since I stopped zoloft, trazodone, and buspar, I have not needed any sinement. My brain is restoring itself to a normal state.

started Sinemet 2006-2007 taking 2 x25g per day, have since been increased to 3 x 25mg daily. my tremors have increased significantly over the past 2 months at times it feels as if I am not on any medication at all. I see my Neurologist in a weeks time for a review, will discuss this then. (the environment also plays a part in my tremors, the very cold weather we are having is also a cause of the tremors becoming worse)
