I had an allergic reaction to the gel that required a trip to the ER to get a steroid shot and a prescription for a Medpak. ER doc called it Angioedema. My mouth and lower part of my face are swollen way out.

after some years of using this drug for pain, my doctor wanted to add for extra medicine for stomach problems prevention, so I decided to stop. around the same time I started voltaren/diclofenac I developed skin issues, lichen scleroses on penis. now after I stopped diclofenac this is not longer a issue. therefor I'll have to assume it was only a side effect, but no doctor found the combination of voltaren and my development of skin issues on penis to be connected. shame on them, I lost my sex life due to incompetence from the staff of doctors.

I got this from a Podiatrist for Planter Faschi, along with some hard arch supports. He said not to take it forever, as I have enough stuff going through my liver, but I still have some left over and it helps unusual pains from unusual strains.

I have been taking Diclofenac or Voltarol for 16 years.... both orally and IM Injections, every day. I think this may have cause my continual ITI's and it may have led to my Kidney's not functioning correctly.
