Unlike other pet animals, parrots require a great amount of work and attention every day on schedule. I must get out of bed early enough to uncover their sleep cages - and sometimes this is the only reason I bother to get out of bed. They require my attention, playfulness and love - and sometimes/often this is the only reason I feel these emotions. Having these parrots forces me to be involved in daily life and to be a bit productive throughout the day every single day. I get much attention, love and demands (LOL) from them too. having parrots in my home gets me going because I might slack off if it were just me affected, but the parrots require care, food, water, toys, attention throughout the day and cannot be ignored.

My cat, Jack, is very calming & relaxing for me. When I pet him and he starts to purr, that is the BEST sound in the world! I forget about pain and stiffness when I'm with him.

I have managed to get the service animals(dogs) to be more in tune to my needs, even though they are young and learning each day they are very protective of the surroundings.
The only un expected things to watch out for is other people have a problem with any kind of service animal
They not only alert me of the problems before they arise, but they also help me during the problem, and seem to lay beside me until help comes or I am able to balance myself.
