I find that if I take the Ibuprofen with the MS Contin, it adds to the pain relieving effect of both drugs. I don't get heartburn a lot, but when I do, usually Maalox or Tums takes care of it. I am also on Prilosec daily as a preventive measure against ulcers.

The biggest problem with taking this particular medication is that is must be taken with food, so I had to plan to take it around mealtimes. There are alot of days that I do not eat 3 or 4 times a day so I was not able to take as directed.
