Advice & Tips
So far I have only had the first 5 day course of Alemtuzumab. I had most of the expected side effects, chills/fever, rash, fatigue and headaches. In addition, during the actual infusions, I had a number of asthma attacks that caused the treatment to be prolonged while I recovered with Benadryl IV and my rescue inhaler. Some days I was in the infusion center for over 9.5 hours. I'm hoping things go a little smoother next year! ;-)
