Xanax will sometimes be prescribed to be taken to frequently so I usually take smaller portions by breaking 2 mg tabs. in half and taken as needed. I notice I have to be careful with taking too much of a narcotic medication can mimic more MS symptoms or make them worse. I just save up rest of meds for later.

I use this as a muscle relaxer occasionally at bedtime when I cannot sleep due to my pain or rigidity/spasms or if I am anxious over not feeling well
