Keppra is new for me, but, I noticed that the combination of drugs produced a big change in my overall life style, and abilities to function adequately. I had home health for awhile, because of the drug effects: balance, looked like I was drinking alcohol. Fell a few times, don't know if they were seizures or not. Dr. assumes they were. Med dose increased. Oh! What fun it is...

I want off this medication as soon as possible. It cause me to be in a constant bad mood with those around me and with myself. It is a scary medication that is ruining my relationships and my life. I have had to seizures while on this med but the side effects are to horrible to bear.

One at night,one in the morning. Simple. For the first week or so,it made a bit drowsy,but now,nothing,no side effects at all,and it had greatly helped! I,at this point would never switch from Levetiracetam (Keppra),unless it's effectiveness diminished. No side effects,helps with my grand-mals,and help somewhat on my myoclonic and absence seizures,both of those don't bother me as much though anyway.

It is hard right now because I am transitioning to a new med.... The impact is now I have to remember to take meds twice a day and I am already having issues remembering. I feel loaded and drunk ALL day. I have it.
