Shoulder injection with steroids is not expected to cause problems but my reaction within five minutes was so severe I needed emergency help and transportation to hospital ER. I'd advise anyone getting a shoulder shot, in this case under ultrasound guidance by a qualified radiologist so it WAS done properly, to wait a little while afterwards to assess the result. I was trying to start my car and drive away when the tremors hit and one side of my body seized, starting at the hand and working it's way rapidly I to arm, chest and eventually leg all on the same side. Confusion and blurring vision too.
