- Take this as your blood work shows you need it, the problems of low thyroid can slip up on you and it takes the medication a long time to become effective. Never increase without proper blood work. NEVER decrease without same and never let a thyroid test done while you are in the hospital under stress be used as a basis for treatment level. This happened to me last year and it took all year for my family doctor to get my levels correct again.

- My internist did not know how to treat me with taking tysabri so he just gave me this rx to see if it would work. My tsh level was 3. After trying it for a couple of months he said that I did not need it.
