Advice & Tips
I requested this from my Dr because I was having a serious amplification of RLS symptoms as a result of starting a SNRI (savella). I was miserable. I started at 0.125 and worked my way up to 0.25, then I added another 1/2 tablet. That kicked my RLS symptoms almost 100% -- I might have a minor episode a couple times a month now, but it's easily manageable with some stretching. I recently started taking it 2 hrs before bedtime, like I was told, instead of right at bedtime when it didn't feel like it did anything (go figure ;-) ) I have a chronic problem of "winding down" in time to go to sleep, and Mirapex helps with that significantly. About 2 hrs after taking it I suddenly become completely disinterested in whatever I am doing, and all I want to do is lie down. This simple change has led to me getting more and better quality sleep, which positively affects my overall FM symptoms. Lots of people have reported compulsive behavior like shopping or gambling; I haven't had any of these problems.

Advice & Tips
It's difficult to remember to take the Mirapex at the appropriate time every night (2 hrs before bed, 3 if food in stomach). This holiday season has gotten my sleeping schedule way out of whack so that doesn't help. I'm considering upping my dose again. I'm not sure it's working as it should; I've had a couple of bad nights in a row where I feel like I didn't get ANY sleep due to RLS symptoms. Again, it could have been because my sleep hygiene has been poor.
