This is for Trager - I have two different types of massage that I use presently - Cranial Sacral and Trager. Both have made a great difference in my day to day living significant enough to keep me consistently on schedule with sessions. The use of massage to control pain levels is critical since I choose to try to avoid narcotic pain medication if I can. I am limited by the Worker's Comp. Adjustor to the number of sessions I may have per week, but it is also dependent upon my pain level for me to be functioning enough to manage keeping up with appointments for all treatments. I am not always able to handle as many in one week as another.
Please consider trying Myo Fascial Release. My new Neurologist wasn't even sure that I had Parkinsons, until she moved my limbs. Myo fascial stretches and releases the fascia around our muscles. I truly feel that my PT Specialist has slowed the progression of my Parkinsons. He stretched out my neck more so that I eliminated any swallowing restrictions. My neck is now in allignment with my body!!

I do recommend this treatment, because it does get those tough knots out of our muscles, which does make me feel a bit better, after the initial shock and pain.
