I use Meclizine for Vertigo or dizziness attacks. I am dealing with constant tinnitus as well. On 12/26/10, I developed a SUDDEN case of dizziness (less than vertigo) and unsteadiness. I have treated it with 50 MGS of Meclizine.

The only thing I can say about this drug is that it knocks me out. I always take it at bedtime but still feel 'drugged' in the morning.

Since it is available over-the-counter, I always keep some Dramamine (Meclizine) on hand, so I don't have to go see the doctor for it. I need it during/after attacks and in the summer months, when it is humid or the daily temperature changes by more than 20 degrees.
