Taking 50 mg, in December 2009/January 2010, I began sleeping poorly, i.e., night time awakenings. The Trazodone was increased to 100 mg. That helped me sleep well-too well. I had a terrible time waking up in the mornings. Rather than 8/9am, I'd get to work at 11am/12pm, even 2pm. That was intolerable so I'm back to 50mg. The night time awakenings have lessened. I still tend to fall asleep sometime after getting up in the morning when I'm sitting in my chair, so tend to get to work around 10am-still not tolerable. But during the remainder of the day I'm fine.

I take the Trazadone mostly for sleep. Sleepiness, by the way, is the only side effect I get from it and actually, I don't consider that a side effect!

took Trazodon for a while and loved it but guess my Body got to use to it now. New Med I take have sleeping aid, so Trazodon isn't needed anymore.
