Absolutely great for encouraging falling asleep. Also helps with staying asleep. Does leave a little bit of draggy feeling first thing after waking. A low dosage (25-50 mg) worked nicely for me. Any higher dose than this left me groggy for hours. Happy side effect is a more positive feeling during the day. I am only stopping Trazodone because I started Lyrica, which makes me very sleepy. No need to take two meds to do the same thing.

works better than ambien i dont get that high and within 30 min- 1 hr i get extremely tired and go right to sleep

I sleep better now but at 200mgs you wait until bed time to take it because 15 minutes after I take it I am asleep. It seemes to help my overall mood in general.
