Advice & Tips: This medicine must be used carefully. When I started taking it I was dizzy and as I took it more I would find myself lying on the floor unable to account for what day it was or what time it was or how I got there or anything. :(

Advice & Tips: I really do enjoy taking this medication for my Fibro because most of my Fibro is located in my legs and back. I also had surgery done on my feet which messed up the nerves in them and the Neurontin has really helped with that. My dosage might be lowered, but it still helped(s) a lot. I really think this is one of the better medication out there for the "middle of the day" treatment for Fibro.

Advice & Tips: Neurontin does help with my Fibromyalgia, but it is only very slightly. I take 400 mg 4 times a day and it does help it slightly, but it helps more with the nerve damage I have in my feet and in my legs.

Advice & Tips: Gabapentin only works for minior aches. I have found that when someone like myself has a severe case of Fibro, it doesn't work so well. But it does help to take the mild cases of pain that I have throughout the day between doses of Savella.

Advice & Tips: When taking gabapentin prior to breakfast in the morning on an empty stomach, I experienced severe dizzy spells mid-morning. Taking this medicine with or after breakfast combats this side effect.
