After 24+ hours of nonstop nausea and vomiting I wouldn't take it again unless someone put a gun to my head, and then I'd think twice.

I have been having problems with my gums & teeth hurting and when I looked up side effects on the internet among the listed was the receeding gum lines caused by anti-siezure meds.

The only thing that concerned me is that my gums started receeding and when I looked up causes for that I saw that anti-siezure meds may cause that. When I stopped taking it the burning and pain did not return so I have only been taking it as I need it which is very seldom.

I find that the neurontin does the best job in dealing with my NERVE pain. Narcotics just don't cut it with that. My doctor even told me that narcotics are ineffective with nerve pain. I can live with the mild side effects I get just for the benefit of having it help my nerve pain to my legs so much!! I can get out of bed, run errands with my husband, play a more active role in society.

while i was on gabapentin it did not appear to do much for my pain symptoms, made me drowsy during the day and not sleep well at nite. but if i didn't take it i did notice so i suppose it must've being doing something may be it was too minute.
