I take 100 mg as needed through out the day if the burning is bad. I refer to use 1/2 of a vicoden though because I am afraid of the weight gain associated with neurontin.

I gained 55 lbs on this in less than a year. My dr wouldn't let me stop taking it until I broke down & cried because I had gained so much weight & was still gaining weight despite dieting & exercising.

Advice & Tips
If it works when you first take it, fine. If you have to stop for whatever reason don't try to go back to it without using extreme caution. I was lucky I was at home and not driving when I had the problems with this medication.
