Advice & Tips
zoloft's just becoming too difficult to take .. the side effects are too much .. I'd much rather just be depressed than be depressed with all the side effects .. (i.e. inability to sleep, heightened anxiety, etc.)

Advice & Tips
Some would have considered the effects to be positive, but for me, they were not. For one, as someone who is bipolar, anything that sends me into mania is not good. I am extremely unpredictable, and Zoloft also made me an apathetic zombie. That meant that I was doing a lot of things with friends and family that were not normal, and put a serious damper on my relationships. To top it all off, the Zoloft made me feel physically tired, but my mind wouldn't slow down long enough for me to fall asleep. For anyone who has problems with insomnia to begin with, this is not a good treatment for you.

Advice & Tips
I was basically given Zoloft for OCD symptoms. A side effect included a burst of energy, which was not something I wanted to continue, considering that I had bipolar symptoms. So anyone who suspects that they could be bipolar should have a discussion with their doctor about a possible manic episode taking place.

Advice & Tips
Take them while you need them. Do not go off cold turkey. They are my happy pills. Have taken them before and realize when I need to go on them.
