I fell on May 1st and I did not cry after only a few days of taking the medication. There is no doubt I would have cried, now I have the control. Many other times in the past week that I would have cried uncontrollably, but now I cry when it is truly appropriate and desired.
This drug seems to become less effective over time. I've gradually had to increase my dose from the original 50mg/day to 200mg/day. Also, I've self-adjusted the dosage seasonally with doctor supervision. I decrease the dose in May and increase the dose in November.

you may have to try many different treatments before you find one that works for you,don't be afraid to mention anything that is bothering you,let it all out.stopped-jan.5, 2012. did not help, if another Dr. said"your questionare was filld in from a depressed person".
After 20 years of taking SSRI's, starting with prozac, I am now convinced that these drugs actually brought on Parkinson's disease. Now, my goal is to completely reverse the damage that has been done.

restarted Zoloft 3 yrs ago after losing health insurance. (had previously been on Zoloft a number of yrs ago.) Had been on Cymbalta prior to losing insurance for 2.5 yrs and it was wonderful for me.
