Advice & Tips: I take this medicine for migraine prevention, not for blood pressure. I tend to have low blood pressure as it is, so this medicine unfortunately lowers it a little more. The good thing is that it definitely keeps me from getting a full blown migraine. If I get a headache now (which is rare), I only get a normal headache and it goes away fairly quick. Before I took Norvasc, I was getting Migraines at least 2 times a week.
