I usually split the dosage in two (morning & night), which extends my bladder calmness through the full day; but presently I take the full dosage in the morning, to counter-balance the 80 mg water pill (for edema). This forces the body to unload the bulk of it's water holding, each morning (roughly, every five to ten minutes for five hours) This way my evenings are more free for errands and shopping.

My daily dosage of 10mg has eliminated both daytime frequency and urgency concerns so well that next month I will increase the dose to 20mg. This way I hope to extend the benefits to all day relief. And be able to stop taking Imipramine, which I've been using to attain a fuller night's sleep, as it decreased the number of night time bathroom trips I need.

Better relief of bladder urgency than Detrol-LA or Oxbutynin.
I forgot to refill the Vesicare; when I realized that I had run out and needed more, I also realized that I actually hadn't needed the medicine at all. I had no problems controlling my bladder without the medicine. As a matter of fact, there had been an increasing number of incidents where I could not urinate before I had run out of the medication. Ultimately I had had very positive results while taking the medication, and will go back to using it if ever those symptoms return.
