First time I took Lyrica for about 6 weeks & I had increasing edema in my legs/feet and hands, as well as some blurring of vision. The second time, I took one dose at bedtime and the next day experienced dizziness, slurred speech, mixed up words, etc.--chiroprator thought I was having a stroke. I have not taken any further doses.

It can take a week or two before you see any real results and you may have some side effects during that time. If you can get through the initial couple of weeks you should find that it helps alot with nerve pain - for me it has really helped with burning pain along my neck, shoulders and upper back.
