Now that I'm taking a lower dosage, I really like Lyrica. At higher doses, I was a raging maniac that could barely remember her own name. That IS an exaggeration, but only a slight one. At the lower dosage, I don't get the anger symptoms, and the memory issues are bearable. I still have a hard time remember anything, I have to write everything down on my calendar.

The lower dosage in combination with Trazodone has been working amazingly well. I haven't had many of the mood issues I had before. I'm feeling a lot more like a normal human being and am working on getting my stamina back.

The brain fog and mood swings were more than I could deal with. It worked wonderfully on the Fibro pain, but I could barely remember my name.

Works extremely well for the fibro; I started taking topomax to off set the weight gain about a year ago and it has helped tremendously

This medication helps me to stay a sleep more than if I did not take it. It helps with the pain at night and makes sleeping a little easier. I notice a huge difference when I do not take it. The only side effect is sleepiness and so I choose to only take it at night before bed.

Cymbalta (duloxetine) was helpful, but did not usually address all of my nerve pain. I resumed Lyrica and slowly worked up to my current dosage until I achieved analgesia (absence of pain). The only time I notice nerve pain is on bad days when the nerve pain returns. I might speak to my pain management doctor about taking an additional dose on those days because the pain is significant. Not sure if this ia an accepted protocol.

It reduces nerve pain in my legs, but it does not remove it most days. My arms are better, but when my bad days hit, it fails to cover the pain just like my legs. Overall, it appears to work, but it is not totally effective and increasing the dose is not

If i did not take this drug for my pain i would not be able to get out of bed!! i have tried all the immediate drugs that are given by the gp's and this is my life saver by far and i had no side effects at all and i would know as i have a massive fear on taking new drugs... it does not take away all the pain of course but for me if i dont take it im in that much pain i cant move so this drug is a massive thumbs up from me :)

It was a miracle when it came to pain management. It helped SSOOO much. Unfortunately I had to stop taking it because it was making me unable to urinate. I would feel like I had to go, would feel the pressure to the point of it hurtting, but couldn't make myself urinate. Dr d/c
