Not really sure if it really helped but I did notice an increase in migraines, lower sex drive and, since stopping, drive is back after a week! Not noticing depression or pain level getting worse. will know better later I think.

Cymbalta: The nausea it causes isn't worth it, I know I can take Wellbutrin, Lexapro, without the side effects. I always have underlying anxiety. But the doctor that was assigned to tell me his plan for me or listen, he has added to my anxiety. This is not good with everything else. I can see trying to heal my digestive system but I can't eat hardly anything anyway. So I'm trying to find things that I can eat.

I am tapering off of Cymbalta...have taken it since Oct 21, 2010 with essentially no real improvement in my fibro; some improvement in mood. I am on Zoloft now for depression/anxiety and will continue it. Cymbalta is not worth the price of $160 per month for little to no improvement in symptoms. I am very disappointed.

Have been on the Cymbalta for a month now with only slight improvement in mood; essentially no change in pain. PCP had given me script for Zoloft to add if no real improvement...started it Friday. I have been getting samples; but, if I fill a script for Cymbalta it will cost $160 for 30 capsules-we can't manage that, especially with little response to it.

I took 30 mg for the first seven days and then increased to 60mg as directed. The first three days, I had a major headache that nothing seemed to relieve; it has resolved. Since increasing the dosage, I have had increased fatigue and extreme daytime sleepiness--today I going to take my dose in the evening instead of the morning.

I recommend Cymbalta to a lot of my patients for Depression and FMS. BUT when I took it for FMS I gained 15 pounds in 1 month (which is fairly unusual - most of my patients lose 10 pounds the first month!). So, I quit and have lost almost all of the weight (5 more to go!)

Even though I tried to take in the past and could not due to side effects, a crisis event caused it to be prescribed again and I am tolerating it pretty well. Causes confusion, memory problems, blank emotions, in the beginning but it seems to not be working anymore.

After only one dose at bedtime I woke up the next day unable to remember how to make coffee or do simple tasks. Could only lay on the couch until it completely wore off.

it seems all anti-depressants make me kind of crazy, as in, i get more paranoid and suicidal, i become a shut in that prefers to drop all outside friend or family relationships
