I only get migraines from Cymbalta when I do not take it on time, so as long as you take it on time you should be fine. I've tried other medications for fibromyalgia pain & this one works the best with the least side effects.

this med definitely helped my mood, but i had absolutely no libido, not ok when im engaged to be married in a year (not that thats ever "ok") also the side effects were so sever, with no warning from my dr, i couldn't even function. please take into consideration that even if this med works for you, the side effects when going off can be extremely sever.

Was told to take at bedtime, but left me restless and wakeful, so I take it during the morning hours now. Was lucky enough to be given samples as I have no ins coverage for this and there's no generic.

I was told to take this at night to help with fibro and sciatic pain at night. I didn't sleep well, was wakeful, but did help pain. I've started taking it in the morning, and it helps the pain and I don't want to sleep as much during the day now. It has helped with pain and depression. I was given a huge bag of samples to last til next appt. Don't know the cost, but do know my ins won't cover it!

For depression (which occured years before FMS or CFS), it took me several different depression meds to find out one that helped or didn't cause undesirably side effects. Cymbalta works for me. Don't give up if the firstbtwo or three don't work.

Cymbalta's efficacy has not decreased. Still keeps depression minimal and the added benefit is that my physical aching and pain of unknown origin has diminished with Cymbalta.

I may be singing the praises of Cymbalta but it has been good to me. Four years now I have had my depression under control/ Breakthrough symptoms of minor depression, a few moderate episodes (short-lived). I stopped Cymbalta in Aug. and experienced withdrawel syndrom effects SEVERE. (was trying Pristiq) Went back on Cymbalta three months later and am satisfied with the efficacy.

Efficacy great even after stopping for 4 months and restarting. Did not induce manic symptoms upon starting like some antidepressents. Also, seems to help with the general physical pain(limbs ache, back and head aches...diminish when depression lifts)

Cymbalta was a like a miracle drug for me when I first started taking it. I can tell if I have forgotten to take it or haven't refilled my script. I highly recommend it for treatment of Fibromyalgia. I still experience some depression, but that is probably normal for someone living in chronic pain.
