I find this helps, some BUT I have to take it in the evening because it makes me CRAZY nauseous in the morning. Also if I take it within 4 hours of sleeping I get horrible NIGHTMARES, like half awake/half asleep, screaming nightmares that I can't wake from. Also, I can't take more than 30mg a day or my eyes will swell! Very rare side effect, but if you take this and notice a change in your vision, call your dr asap!

I was told to take this medication in the morning instead of at night. After a day or two, I started having strange and weird dreams. They were vivid and scary at times. I would find myself falling out of bed. I fell out of bed several nights that week. I finally got tired of doing that and returned back to taking it at night. The bad dreams stopped and so did the falling out of bed.

My depression without Cymbalta is not manageable. Which is why I had to increase my doseage level to 120 mg. This also seems to work well in controlling my nerve pain.

Do not hesitate to take an anti-depressant if your doc suggests it or if you believe it will benefit you. It takes time to find the right one for you, but you do, you will feel so much better about yourself, your life, your family and friends, and you can better deal with your PD in a positive way.
